Lhasa is a capital city of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Lhasa lies at an altitude of 3,650 meters (11,975 feet) so that’s why it also counts for the highest cities in the world. Lhasa is the second famous city in Tibet after Xining city. Lhasa is called as “Land of the Gods” and is over 1,300 years old and Holy land in the Tibetan language.
